Can epoxy resin be applied directly to tiles?

Yes, that's one of our specialties! You can easily modernize your old tiles in the bathroom or kitchen without the laborious process of chiseling them out. The only important thing is that the tiles are firmly attached. After thorough cleaning and degreasing, you use our Pure Resin Basic Primer to create an unbreakable bond between the ceramic and the resin. This creates a modern, seamless surface that is absolutely waterproof.

Are epoxy resin floors suitable for bathrooms?

Absolutely – but at Pure Resin, we go a step further. For the bathroom, we recommend our PU resins (polyurethane) or Serin Pure series. Unlike simple epoxy resin, these are elastic and warm to the touch. You'll no longer have cold feet and will benefit from a hygienic surface without the risk of mold in the joints. One wipe, everything clean.

Can epoxy resin be used in the shower?

Yes, if you use the right system. Our waterproof coatings are ideal for wet areas. We'll support you with planning to ensure the slope is correct and the waterproofing is professionally installed. With our special additives, you can also individually adjust the slip resistance so that you always have a secure footing in your designer shower.

How much does an epoxy garage floor cost?

For a professional system including all accessories, calculate approximately €100 per square meter. That may sound like a lot at first, but: Our starter kits already include everything – from primer to resin to tools. You're not buying chemicals, but a functional system. In the garage, our epoxy resin provides perfect protection against oil, salts, and mechanical stress.

Is an epoxy floor worth it in a garage?

Definitely. If you love your garage, coat it. A Pure Resin floor turns your garage into a showroom. Not only is it extremely easy to clean (oil can simply be wiped off), but it also protects the concrete from frost damage and de-icing salts. It's the last floor coating you'll ever have to do in your garage.

Is epoxy resin suitable for a living room?

For living areas, our Serin Pure PU resin is the first choice. It is impact sound-absorbing, crack-bridging, and healthy for living spaces. Thanks to our special color stability, the floor does not yellow – even when the sun shines intensely through floor-to-ceiling windows. It is the perfect flooring for allergy sufferers and households with animals, as it does not pick up hair or dust.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of epoxy flooring?

Advantages: You get a seamless, unique piece with endless design possibilities. It is extremely durable, chemical-resistant, and easy to clean.

Disadvantages: Standard epoxy resins can yellow under UV light and are rigid.

The Pure Resin Solution: We have eliminated these disadvantages with our technology (PU) . Our floors remain colorfast and are elastic enough to accommodate small movements in the subfloor without cracking.

How much epoxy resin do I need for 50 square meters?

At Pure Resin, you don't have to painstakingly calculate quantities and risk running short by 2 kg in the end. We have pre-packaged our complete kits for living spaces precisely for common areas (e.g., 10 m², 25 m², or 40 m²). For 50 square meters, simply combine our sets (e.g., 40 + 10). Each set contains the exact amount of primer, resin, pigments, and tools you need for a perfect result on that area. We do the thinking for you!
