Adhesion is excellent because the liquid resin penetrates deep into the wood pores and forms a mechanical anchor. The bond is often stronger than the wood itself once cured. Prerequisites for success: The wood must be dry, grease-free, and cleanly sanded. For furniture projects, we always recommend a thin primer beforehand to prevent air bubbles from the wood.

Absolutely! Resin systems are an ingenious, seamless alternative to tiled splashbacks in the kitchen or bathroom. Since our resins have high stability, they can be processed excellently vertically. The result is an impact-resistant, waterproof and extremely easy-to-clean surface that is visually in a completely different league than normal wall paint.

Yes, especially where hygiene and durability are important. On the wall, the resin forms a massive protective shield against impacts, water, and stains. In showers or behind the stove, it is the perfect solution because there are no joints where dirt or mold can accumulate. This is an important topic. In principle, cured resin is weather-resistant, but classic epoxy resin tends to yellow under direct UV radiation. For outdoor areas – such as balconies or terraces – we therefore recommend our special UV-stable systems or a high-quality stone carpet. If you are casting a piece for outdoor use, be sure to let it cure completely (at least 7–14 days) indoors at constant temperatures before exposing it to the elements.

We advise DIY users to be cautious: Outdoors, you have no control over humidity, dust, and insects that could fly into your wet resin. In addition, strong temperature fluctuations between day and night often lead to defects in the surface structure. For a professional result, you should start your project in a clean, controlled environment such as your workshop or garage.
